If you haven’t heard about ACTA the “The Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement”, you will soon, because it has the potential to invade our lives in the most intimate and confronting manner.

ChaosFoot stands for the right of an individuals unfettered free speech and digital privacy.
We do not condone the use of file sharing networks for the purposes of Copyright infringement but believe that these proposed powers are the “thin edge of the wedge” giving Government access to content that should remain personal and private.
The internet has legitimate uses and these should not be swept up into Big Brother’s radar and potentially used to inhibit freedoms that we all take for granted.
One thing to say to any illegal downloaders out there - There are alternatives: its called creative commons licensing. Plenty of good stuff out there that is free and legal. End of rant. The Youtube video can be viewed here.
