Stay (High tempo mix) + Construction kit
coruscate
Okay, remixing Mykleanthony provided some basic challenges for me. I say basic because I’m not as mad skilled as some of y’all, still learning 8^)
The first challenge was I (almost) always remix only attribution 3.0 or similar licenses. I stay out of the non-commercial territory. Mykleanthony only had 2 acapellas, and some fully mixed tracks under the 3.0 umbrella. I’ve already experimented recently, too recently with stuttering and slicing up instrumentals so I wanted to do something new. And I also I wanted to experiment with tempo changes, and higher paced music I chose “Stay.”
“Stay” is a slow, soul filled song… which itself posed the second challenge, because I found it difficult to grasp how to put my own instrumental to this piece and create something that moved. I’m quite happy with it, but some people may find it simplistic and I accept that.
All the background music bits are available as loops and are included!
