2Mix - The Black Rose Blooms
coruscate
This is two songs joined together.
“Cheaters” a poem by Silkwords
With musical elements from Speck, SpinningMarkaba, Klaus and Nickleus
“The Black Rose Grows” with vocals by The Incomplete Orchestra virtual band members P-Earl Gray, Kaga and Swede-Dish.
The acapella and the two separate songs will be available in a second upload under Creative Commons 4.0 Attribution. Without Madame Snowflake’s acapella.
Since her Acapella is CCplus and it’s the only non-commercial sample here, CCplus should be a cinch.
Unified theme.
80 and 90 bpm respectively.
SpinningMarkaba’s bass is severely slowed down in the first song, which in my mind makes it work perfectly with Speck’s rapid and crazy percussion. Silkword’s vocal is one of many vocals on CCMixter that had not been remixed yet and is part of my personal project to get things that have not been mixed before mixed.
Madame Snowflake’s lyrics juxtapose both songs perfectly, and right when she says the words ” I’m reflecting you” is the only part of both songs for about maybe 10 seconds where the piano you hear is not Klaus. All of the other piano samples you hear are him. Also mostly unused samples.
