I clipped portions off Gurdonark’s winter drone to fit the 3/4 pattern of Bruce McCosar’s cool percussion sample. It ended up being kind of a “modal” (hate that term) groove piece. Not what I originally had in mind, but I went with it. Shorteninng the drone to fit the rhythym seemed to remove it’s “dronelike” quality and it sounded more like someone playing chords, in time, on a keyboard.
