Off-the-cuff impro. Totally dry recording. I took two acoustic guitars (6-string and 12-string) and mic’d them up; then I played them both simultaneously by hitting the open strings with rubber mallets: in other words, I didn’t actually fret any strings but played both guitars at once as if they were percussion instruments.
