I See Clear (Views from my Bedside Table Remix)
Joel Frijters
Well all your beautiful people!!!
I can’t express how grateful I am to all of you for continuing to spread great music all over this lovely world of ours! Thank you for keeping this site going strong and thank you for all the kind words welcoming me back!
Ok… down to brass tacks. It was my pleasure to meet SiobhanD in my assignment this go round for the secret mixter. I saw one upload that hadn’t been touched so I thought that is a great avenue for exploration. Thank you SiobhanD for a great track to work with!
I have been quite ill this week preceding upload day but Taoist self must believe it only adds to the MayDay call in the poem:
###
I see clear
I see france
I see fear in your face
I see trouble on your horizon
I see a rabid dance in your thigh
I see under your encampment and I hear your spaces and silence
I see a world of religious fervour and stop-gap, knee jerk vacancies of thought
I see you and your kind, your people, your kin, your people
I see a dark night and sobering morning thereafter
I see explosions of grief and standing rock
I hear a hovering, unseeable enemy
I see you cover your face
I see promise
I see hurt
I make no judgements here for hearsay or heresy or a need for silence
I see a poppy blowing in the stillness of a deserted terrene landscape
Wild as it should be
Wild as it will be
###
I hope this finds you all very well and ready to make lots more beautiful music for all to hear!
Kindest Regards,
Joel.
