David Lindley has passed away. His was not a well known name in the world of music but for decades he provided some of the most beautiful accompaniments to the likes of Jackson Browne, James Taylor and reportedly the early works of Leonard Cohen. His graceful playing of guitar, mandolin, fiddle, slide guitar and many more instruments took what was already great music onto another level. His work with the legendary Jackson Browne is a great example of what he could do.

It takes a great vocalist to lay a vocal down on a sparse backing track and yet still fill the room up. Zutsuri does just that on this track. I listened to her vocal and just played along on the piano. Her beautiful voice and phrasing is amazing and it makes me glad that I still keep coming back to the old Mixter.
