After my second marriage came to an end a good friend (who himself had managed to wed and divorce 4 times)took me out for a few drinks. At some point during the evening as we were discussing our involvement with women his voice took on a serious tone and he said in an effort to cheer me up ” Don’t worry mate. If we couldn’t have sex with them we’d never talk to them would we!! As he was buying the drinks it seemed churlish to argue with his philosophy but I can’t say I’d go that far!

There are occasions however when at times as my partners and I would head off at tangents that I did think we were definitely different species!

The Admirals 12 bar started it all and Ciggi’s and Jav’s wonderful vocals did the rest. I added some journeyman bass and lead Gtr and tinkled on the keyboards and thumped on the drums. Anchor and Oberons intro was something I’ve wanted to use for some time but have never found the right place.
