A few years ago I was asked to attend a meeting I would not normally go to as it was comprised mainly of lawyers and accountants. They had gathered to settle a rights issue on some music used in a film. I initially said no but then they offered me a large chunk of money so I caught the next bus!!

After the meeting had finished I got talking to one of the lawyers. We had gravitated towards each other as neither of us had worn a tie. During our conversation he told me that this was his last case as two weeks earlier he had been diagnosed with terminal cancer and he had decided to pack a rucksack and travel the world and maybe find some Shaman with a magic potion. I asked about his family and he informed me that his children had long since left home and rarely contacted him and his wife was in an affair with a much younger man so the moment to go was just right.

I never found out if he discovered that Shaman with the magic potion but lets hope he did.
