Sir Winston Churchill was ahead of his day in many respects. One quote that he was famous for saying was “Jaw, jaw not war, war”. Today I consider this to be very relevant.

Another more humorous quote came when Sir Winston was drunk. A lady stated “Sir, you are drunk!” to which he replied “Madam you are ugly but in the morning I shall be sobber!”. I see Togora has not managed to include this quote, pity as I am sure it would have raised a smile or two from other ccMixters.
