So Sackjo22 brought me this challenge of remaking a very old song called “Daisy Bell”. It was very challenging indeed and after many iterations, instrument choices, and experiments; jazz, gyspy, reggae, hip hop…I finally settled on this old timey folk mix. I’ll be putting a bunch of other samples and those other “experiments” here in case anyone wants to try and mix them further.

“Daisy Beat” uses a sample from Edward M. Favor. Recorded by the Edison Phonograph Company on brown wax cylinderreleased by a man with the last name “Quinn” …which happens to be my last name as well : )
