Big Star (Classic Rock)
Whitewolf
It would never occur to me as an atheist to make a Christian* song, but Admiral Bob’s acapella was just too compelling to resist. I hope I treated it with the proper respects. Cheers!
Arranged/composed via: Magix Acid Pro Next Suite using a few different Big Fish Audio CD’s as inspiration. (Creative Commons Attribution (3.0)
VST’s: Vandal_SE on the rhythm and lead guitars, and only slightly on the solo guitar.
Two cans of Brio and a ham sandwich were consumed during this project. Three menthol smokes were smoked as well.
*No Christians were harmed during the production of this song. However, some difficult fine tuning and rendering problems made me crush both empty cans… for some reason, every time I rendered the final track, some of the vocals would drop alignment. A frustrating challenge I hope I overcame.
Lyrics:
Following the path unmarked
To the highest of Kings
We tread with shepherds
And like magi we bring
Bright in the dark, the star shines light where its due
Like the wise men we place our gifts before you
Rejoice for the light of the big star
Praise be the King of near and far
Choirs sing in the light of the big star
Hallelujah, King of my heart
Laden with burden
We fall to our knees
To honour this child
Whose yoke is our ease
Bright in the dark, the star shines light where its due
Like the wise men we place our gifts before you
Rejoice for the light of the big star
Praise be the King of near and far
Choirs sing in the light of the big star
Hallelujah, King of my heart
Peace on Earth to people of good will
Peace on Earth to people of good will
Glory to God in the highest!
Bright in the dark, the star shines light where its due
Like the wise men we place our gifts before you
Rejoice for the light of the big star
Praise be the King of near and far
Choirs sing in the light of the big star
Hallelujah, King of my heart
