The moment I saw who I drew for this Secret Mixter, I had some definite ideas on what I wished to do… until I worked my way through Apoxode’s catalogue. Then, the work began.

Going through his wonderful samples, I kept coming back to his track Electric Candy.

So, I took every part of that song, sans bass, and mixed it up, originally with a full orchestra, then when that didn’t capture the energy I wanted, I tried other styles until I came upon a Funkadelic sound.

Adding some samples from a few of his other tracks, including a couple of very tight drum kits to drive it, and a small clip of Snowflake’s to compliment the whole, I present to you Firefly’s Candy!
