Found this gem on songboy3’s page , and I thought his message aligned perfectly with the first of The Four Noble Truths (in Buddhism) . The First Noble Truth sounds like the author was in the throes of a major depression. Thank goodness there is a Second Noble Truth, which offers the way out of such a stark and negative realization.
