Stranded
Clarence Simpson
This has been sitting in the vault for years. I’m honestly not sure how useful it will be to anyone, but I’m certainly willing to be surprised, and ccM seems like the place that could do it.
I’m not really even sure how to classify this, though. It’s two electric guitars playing a very lazy chord pattern that reminds me of being stranded in the desert (hence the title).
It’s not played to a fixed tempo and both guitar tracks were done in one take so there’s a few flubs and a pop on the lead track. All the same, I’ve always really liked the recording for some reason, so here it is in all it’s sloppy glory.
The bpm on this is 50-ish but I played it VERY loose so that’s going to vary a lot within the track.
