Today I noticed that Botany Bay’s “A Better Way” was actually quite similar chord-wise to my recent jazz arrangement of Auld Lang Syne. So I started messing around with putting them together today.

I started this thinking it would just be a quickie mix using only Botany Bay’s vocals. 7 hours later I’ve ended up with a full production using most of the stems supplied by Botany Bay. I think it turned out for the better though.

Also, apparently it’s illegal to sample yourself I guess. The ccMixter attribution system won’t let me do it. So, here’s the link to Auld Lang Syne which was the source of most of the music that didn’t come from Botany Bay:
