I’ve been lurking on here for a while, but finally decided it was time to finish a remix and upload it. I’ve been inspired by Snowflake’s remix fundraising pledge so have reworked her latest song. I’ve gone for a dreampop/shoegaze sound, kinda influenced by 80s/early 90s UK bands like Cocteau Twins, Slowdive and My Bloody Valentine.

I tweaked the vocals here and there, but most importantly I’ve really try to use the backing vox as an instrument in their own right, to give the song some texture. It’s a bit less melodic than the original version, but hopefully the vocals work in their new setting.
