This is the fruit of my first official collaboration with Jeris. We worked on this months and months ago. Initially I fell in love with GMZ’s original bed [big thanks to him] and wanted to build upon it. I added some ambient sounds and vocal samples from Guru Purinima’s 2004 world peace speech to spice things up a bit. Then I invited my Ala Buddha Bar World Music loving camarada, and ccmixter extraordinaire, Jeris to play with it a little further; I knew it was something he’d enjoy. This is the result!

The track was meant to open the Savvy & the Chic 9, since my original theme for that was world music; though it changed in the end and the song never made it into the album. Since then I’ve had it in the vault cooking - being a perfectionist and always looking what else I could ad to it. But hey! I finally listened to it again today and thought: “Hey! What do you know? Is perfect the way it is!” B-)
