When I wrote the poem ‘Violet Town’ I conceived it as a song. Here is my a cappella recording but unfortunately I found it difficult to hold the tune without music. I have written some music to it (chords), which you can hear in the preview file I will also upload. If anyone wants to work with it and thinks it isn’t good enough, I am willing to have another go at recording it.

The melody didn’t turn out quite as expected and I’m wondering if I should simplify the chord progression.
