These tracks were recorder for the track “domingo” from our work Love.

The piano (upright) is tuned to A=431 (scale up by 35 cents to get A=440). It was recorded on a four track tape recorder at 110bpm, using a small diaphragm condenser mic over the open top of the instrument. Each track had a different mic over the register being played. The first 8 or so seconds should just be tape noise. Although the recording was done on a fix tempo, with both tracks playing together, tape cassette does not playback with perfect sync and these recordings were not recorded in sync.
