It could be midlife crisis, but lately I’ve been listening a lot to bands like OMD, Yazoo and Depeche Mode. It probably influenced me to take an eighties-like approach for this really wonderful sung pella by Loveshadow. 808 drums, a synth piano-ish sound, Ensoniq bells, Solina strings… it’s all there ;-)
