Little Penguin

The Little Penguin species (Eudyptula minor)lives in Australia and New Zealand. It’s the smallest penguin, about 12 or 13 inches high.
The rumour is that Tux, the Linux “mascot” penguin image, was adopted after Linus Torvald was bitten by a little penguin, a love bite that led to the logo. So you can see that the little penguin is very open source attuned.
The Little Penguin in this song lives on Kangaroo Island, in South Australia. Here is a Creative Commons image of some little penguins on Kangaroo Island: http://www.flickr.com/photo... courtesy

We don’t have penguins in Texas, except at the zoo, but I would love to visit Kangaroo Island and see the little penguins at work and play.
Debbizo writes lovely poetry which often garners solid and fun remixes. She also posts cool samples for use in creating music. Because the samples are not remixed nearly as often as they should be, I decided to create an instrumental track featuring only her synthesizer samples. The result is the kind of off-kilter tinkertoy music I enjoy making—and sharing with you under an attribution license, thanks to the BY samples posted by Debbizo.
