Kara Square has been so much a part of ccMixter and added so much to its rich library of songs.I was pleased but daunted to draw her in the Secret Mixter celebration. I chose this lovely spoken word piece, and then began to snip, alter and adjust a great ambient sample by Airtone, along with some of Kara’s field recordings, to make this song. Any credit for the result is their credit, and any flaws or failures in the end result are entirely my own. I’ve been far too inactive lately on the Mixter, though ccMixter remains to me a very special place.
