Imagine you’ve been traveling all night, and now you’re starting to see the sun come up in the horizon, still a ways to go before you reach your destination.

This started life as what was going to be just ambiance for a different track and it just took on a life of it’s own, so I decided that it didn’t really need anything else added to it. I spend what feels like about an hour just listening to it over and over again, adding and taking away different effects and filters, listening again, re-listening, waiting for the magic… then when I hit the sweet spot I pressed record and mixed the track in about as much time as it takes to listen to it.

I do this sort of thing all the time, but the results aren’t usually worth holding on to, let alone sharing.
