Due to a last minute oversight, there’s a loop of a guitar melody that wound up a lot louder than intended, but rather than sounding like a mistake, it just sounds like that particular loop is more important part of the song than intended, changing the overall feel.

Basically, the song gained an unintentional hook. And that’s why you gotta let the accidents happen every now and again.

To a large extent, the guitars were meant to be more texture than lead instrument, at least originally. Unlike the last song, where everything compacted neatly onto 4 tracks (get it?), this one has a good number of overdubs all filling very specific roles.
