The Slide Out
jaspertine
Earlier in the week, I’d recorded a little fingerpicked guitar riff by pointing my webcam at my unplugged electric guitar, and later decided I was going to make use of it on Saturday night.
The idea at the time was to re-record the same part and make it the basis on the new track, then at the last minute decided instead to split the high and low parts into their own instruments and build an arrangement that way.

This means that the chords underpinning the whole thing are pretty much just E, A, and D, as those are the open notes on the low strings of a standard tuned guitar.
