I’ve never had the best of luck with amp sims, but earlier this week, I found one that had a high gain setting that was kinda working for me.

So the plan was to put together a shoegaze track that would break into a loud section to try and put the sim through its paces, and while I still quite like the tone, getting it to fit in a mix is going to require some additional experimentation.

I didn’t run out of time this week, but just barely, but aside from the distortion, nothing feels incomplete to me, and I don’t really feel like the music was sacrificed either. So, that’s good.
