The title is a play on “The Kids Are Alright.” Maybe the word “gaslight” would have sounded better than the past tense, but I didn’t want to imply that the kids were the ones doing the gaslighting.

The plan was to do something a bit more shoegazey, but the mix and arrangement aren’t quite as dense as that, but I think you get the basic idea. There’s quite a few guitar overdubs to pull the whole thing together.

I’ve been trying to spice up my distorted guitar tones. There’s still work to do, but I like how punchy they are without needing to violently force the upper mids into your face.
