I’ve been humming this song in my head since I wrote it on the way to see my daughters. My heart was filled with happiness and I had hope in my heart though the world around me seemed so dark. I realized that my hope for the holidays was being with them, and with the ones I love.

I hope that this holiday season brings you joy and friendship and love in a similar way.

Technical Notes:
I sang this over verse chords of D and E repeated twice with a F#min,E,D walk down to the chorus which was sung over A,G with the same F#min,E,D walkdown at the end of each line. It was not sung to a metronome. My apologies for any sour notes or other imperfections.
