I fell in love with MissJudged’s voice as soon as I heard the first lines from “Hurricane.” As I listened, the words immersed me in a story of an immortal woman with a terrible burden. I saw blood on sand.

I found myself hunting for something that had the kind of Sekhmet-like strength of a woman, a sense of hope, but also had kind of a creepy edge to it. As I was working out timing, the line “I lose all sense of time” sparked a memory of LondonBridgez’ “Tick Tock.” Really happy with how this evocative little piece turned out.
