I actually completed this in November, 2008. When I first heard the vocals, I had a much different idea to do more of a bossanova remix, but when I saw that her musical tastes included Portishead, I thought I’d take a different tack.


I hadn’t listened to it in a while because I thought it was too rough to publish. I’d been working on this remix on and off for 5-6 months, and I’m still not sure I’ve done justice to this singer’s beautiful voice, but I decided it was time to release it.
