Of Dreams and Music
Mana Junkie
I cheap mic and a few random words here.
Of Dreams and Music
I traveled across the universe,
and ended up at a place I’ve never been before.
Listening to music that I haven’t heard,
that just sounded like The Doors.
I ordered myself a drink and then looked upon the stage,
There I saw Jim Morrison looking fresh from his grave.
And he was singing, “Tomorrow I’ll cry but tonight I’ll die.
To find a new prespective, to live life as expected. And rave on about the afterlife as children suffer and fight for light.
After his show he came down to me,
He said Son can’t you see. The world is a democracy and you are one of the free. ”
He then took me to a place where the legends of music jammed.
There I met Jimi, Elvis, Janis and Ann.
And they were singing,
“Tomorrow I’ll cry but tonight I’ll die.
To find a new prespective, to live life as expected. And rave on about the afterlife as children suffer and fight for light.
Music is suppose to be free,
It comes from the heart, it has soul and equality.
It’s not meant to be wrapped up in paper. It’s from the arts and that’s what the case is here.
