The Year of the Horse
Begins with a Walk

I’m starting to think 2014 could be a sleeper,
a surprise rise from the people’s choir

Vortex cold in a polar land,
Boots walking for the upper hand,
In a long conversation stuck in the sand,
It’s time for TV voices to let the Internet stand.

We walk, with love for our country,
to honor our grannies and sons.
We walk, for an end to corruption,
‘til the will of the people is done.
