Anew, Love
Ivan Chew
According to Google Translate, “Palsu” means “False”. And “Otra vez” was Spanish for “Again” or “Anew” (I think; if it’s not Spanish, I’ll let Google know).
I wanted to remix something with urmymuse’s Def Lappard Brit Amp sounding rock riffs. But not too much much of a straight-up pop-rock tune. Found pells from loonattic and Tarida. I don’t speak Spanish or Malay (Bahasa Indonesia) but thought, why not. They weren’t rated NSFW. They stems have not been mixed before, so all the more I wanted to attempt this. I hope I didn’t butcher the sung pells by cutting at the wrong points.
Tarida’s lyrics speak of false declarations of love. I don’t know what is in Otra vez but there was an angst in the vocals. And so, “Anew, Love” (I like to be optimistic in music; too much sadness in the world as it is).
