I attempted this remix in 2015 but wasn’t happy with the final sound. Then sat on it all the way to 2016… heck, here it is. I used Doxent’s drone guitar as the foundation track, and piled (perhaps going a bit overboard) layers of guitars, bass, flute and piano drum over it.

It’s called Dawn’s Battle, in reference to the perpetual cycle of sun rise and sun set, light and dark, day in and day out. We fight to wake each day and resist the call of sleep, as if we do not want the day to end. Something like that.
