I haven’t had much time this week for songwriting. Well, I’ve had a little, but the rap song I’ve been working on is a problem. I have the r&b chorus (sung), and I think it’s fine, but the actually rap part is not natural for me (I keep hearing “no f*cking little kid rhymes…” in my head after I write something, and I start over ;)…….SO ANYWAY THIS TRACK…I always hear this croaky voiced newscaster on the radio that cracks me up, and I’m also amused/disgusted at times by the overuse of the words, “ever rising” by newspeople. How many things (other than my age) are truly EVER rising? So here is just a bunch of juxtaposed statements about things that are “everizing” using my best simulation of the croaky voiced newscaster’s voice. BTW - sorry about the plosives - forgot the pop filter - compressed much out, but some still there. This is really just an experiment - use it however you like (I realize that goes without saying ;)….. .. .
