Waiting for You
Rewob
Travelling back from a gig in the mid 70’s I heard a song with a decending bassline under the chords
Gmin—-Csus2(b5)/D—-Bbmaj/D—-Cmaj/E—-Ebmaj/Bb—-Fmag/C—-Gmin/D—-Csus2(b5)/D
Although that’s some 48 years ago I’ve never forgotton it to this day.
When I heard Snowflakes gentle and beautiful song “Waiting in the Garden” it seemed the perfect vocal for what I had in mind.
I used a gritty Wurli 200A piano as the pulse which seemed appropiate as it was popular in the late 70’s.
Some of you of a certain age will remember the original track I’m sure. I have it in my collection.
No prizes for guessing though.
