Although Bernard L’ ermite (mad_beet) had secretly-mixed me back in the winter of 2022 I’m
not that familliar with his work so that being the case I listened to all fourteen
of Bernard’s tracks to get a feel of what he was about. I was pleasantly suprised
to find a large portion of his work had a lo-fi organic downtempo feel (70-75bpm) A genre I enjoy working in.
so with minimum time stretching and pitch editing my life was made much easier.
I used four pieces including Transmutate featuring the ethereal voice of Snowflake.
I always get a buzz doing secretmixter projects. The not knowing where it might take me and the
creative blending of two musical minds.
