This isn’t the first time I’ve used these words. An accident waiting to happen has been good to me. First published in Red River Review in 2012, where it was subsequently nominated for a Pushcart Prize and Best-of-the-Net Award, different versions of the poem also appeared in my collections tropeland (2015) and Original Clichés (2016.) I’ve performed it live and recorded it live with Max-Mo.
I remixed it with Kara Square’s Spinning and had it remixed itself in annabloom’s Dadaist The Uncertainty Principles as Principle of Certainty about unknown Unknowns.
But listening to the mood and words of Martijn & Javo’s Unsichtbar I thought it perhaps time for a slightly darker version…
