Thank you Queenie for such a beautiful interpretation of one of my fav Sinead O’Connor songs.
I kept the original elements fairly in check, but couldn’t help myself to dust off the bongos and some assorted noises with the drum kit.
Added some more bass and a distant sitar.

[EDIT: after I uploaded it I felt there was something missing, so I plugged in the mandolin and laid on my back on the studio floor peering upwards to the clouds rolling by through the skylight.
After feeling a bit dizzy, I stood back up and plugged the fender in for a heavy backbone render job for the chorus.
The sparse mix is now the second file]

Quite a haunting lyric that I kept very upfront in the mix.
