Double Dutch Eyes (2in2)

#######
Its now been 122 minutes, just overtime and my head hurts.
I don’t think 24 in 24 is possible.
Here’s the second song.
The session started very strange getting stuck on an obscure Lizzi sample found in Magnatunes “Pre-cut loop libraries” here. “065-F#-lizzi-615”
Added some Norine Braun’s “I cant take you there” electro pop and some subcontinental Jay Kishor for some spice.
I then pulled it all together with a synth bass groove that I did on the keyboard and some wacca wacca on the Strat. Created some rough and ready loops from these and arranged the song.
Added some horns from Zapac.
35 minutes in and I still don’t have a vocal.
Searching my working files, I found a file I’d named “Frank melodyned”. It was a repitching experiment I’d played around with a while back but abandoned.
Changed the tempo and its in.
Needing a bit of a rap conversation, I found Sunbyrns “Double dutch”
and slotted it in to places where Frank was taking a breath.
Two listens and its done.
An hour is sometimes not enough.
Works in places.
