I’ve spent the last month immersed in the music theory of Burt Bacharach -
his circular hang-build-and resolve chord progressions and the way he constructs his arrangements around lyrics to add to the conversation and message.
I’ve attempted to use every one of his little progression and chord change tricks in this one.

Lovely vocal, tried to stay out of the way as much as possible.

In other news, I’m finally marrying Sassygal this Friday and then off to Europe for some winter romance.
