I was really pleased to see this secret mixter’s theme of “come together” because this is what ccMixter is really all about and I’m sure we all really need this now.
No matter where you are in the world, ccMixter allows us to share something intimate with a person you have never met thousands of miles away and get a great insight into another artist’s inner creative world.

Although I’ve met up with some ccmixter artists across the world over the years, I’ve never met Snowflake in person - yet I feel that I know her very well through her music and the honesty of her lyrics.
So what better way to come together than through a duet!!

Drawing Emily this time around was another opportunity for me to cover one of her songs as a virtual duet and discover more about her craft and lyrics.

Over the past 12 1/2 years I’ve been on ccmixter this is the fourth virtual duet Ive been honoured to sing with Snowflake.

For this song, instead of going to go down the regular piano and two voices route I was lucky to fall over Stefan’s great guitar rock ballad version with stems :)
