Susan’s words “still we battle while we’re praying” pierced me and wouldn’t leave me alone. The imagery of her Path of Glass works kept ringing in my head.

I started with Free Mickey’s works, found Ana by Bless, and started chopping. Vieux Farka Touré’s vocals sounded like praying to me. Lots of slicing, cutting, treating. This mix was a big challenge for me. It sounds better in headphones I think.

I hope Susan doesn’t mind the cutting and re-arranging I did to make things fit. Very emotional stuff.
