Fierce Love Pell is HERE

I was incredibly lucky to draw the oh so very talented Apoxode. I listened for hours and downloaded at least 12 different tracks & stems.

I knew immediately halcyon would be the foundational track and started writing a melody and words with flow and ease. I had intended to intertwine other Apoxode source, but halcyon was so perfect I just couldn’t add anything else. I love everything about his instrumental. So sexy!

I’m learning I don’t know how to be fierce and loving at the same time. When I lose my patience I become fierce but not so loving. When I’m loving I’m sort of a weak blob. Perhaps blending them consciously together will create a better me.

Can’t believe ccMixter just turned 17 - and that I’ve been driving the boat for 12 years. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s always been worth it. Our community is rooted in our legacy and is growing to new heights — I love the unique creative place that is ccMixter with all of my heart.
