I’m so lucky to have drawn Carosone! His library of creative and well-produced uploads was a joy to explore. The instrumental of Bhagyadha Lakshmi immediately spoke to me, with a reggae island feel that aligns with the vibe here on Kauai (I’m starting to learn Hawaiian…)

Yesterday I found 3 Monarch Caterpillars in the garden, one of which began its chrysalis process today. I’ve been raising caterpillars for many years now, and observing their process of metamorphosis has pulled me through my own difficulties.

With our world facing ever-increasing turmoil and now a terrifying and unjust war, I pray for that same kind of metamorphosis — for the entire human species and earth herself.
