I always like to hear a vocal in isolation with no preconceptions and record what I think works as a backing. Only after do I listen to how others have interpreted the same vocal and it’s always a pleasant surprise.
With this one I instantly got a stooges-type guitar riff in my head and that was the focal point. Thanks, Scomber!
