A few years ago I did a mix of this track in the style of Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus. Listening back, whilst it sounded OK Shannon’s live performance blew it into the gutter, and the chords in the chorus took me straight to the Motown classic You Ain’t Livin’ Until You’re Lovin’ by Marvin and Tammi. Shannon has kindly re-uploaded the stems so I’ve been able to do it justice, and make a cool dance-pop version that is chart and radio friendly. Hope you enjoy, Shannon has attracted a local following here, her material has blown my friends away.

We’ve kept the original guitar parts on this mix as they fit well, and re-worked the backing for a double tempo drum&bass meets funk style.
