Hollyhawk’s vocals were pitched down 2 steps to J’s key. Her word phrasing was modified to follow J’s jive arrangement. Hollyhawk’s voice was further re-pitched to create outro harmony parts.

Happily Hollyhawk’s pitched down voice fit the genre and period like a duet with backup singers on an old Tennessee Ernie Ford black & white TV variety show.

Last year, J’s acapella version of Joy To The World was remixed with Admiral Bob.
