I used single note samples from a Chinese instrument in this track and built it in step time around the Trifonic Lies vocal. The timing shifts a little. The vocal leaves a lot of options open - if I had to do this again it would probably end up sounding completely different. Heavy reverb doesn’t come across too well with mp3 compression but it still sounds ok to me!
